Phil Reger, President of Reger Quality Consultants, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, an ASQC Certified Quality Engineer, a Registered Professional Engineer, an ISO 9000 Lead Assessor, and AIAG approved QS-9000 Auditor. He was elected a Fellow of the American Society of Quality Control, and is the 1992 winner of the Society's Oakley Award. In 1997, he was awarded the Milwaukee Section of ASQ’s Distinguished Service Award.  He was asked to be an examiner on the first two Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examination Boards.

Since July 1992, Mr. Reger has been assisting companies in the development of their quality management systems, using the ISO 9000/QS-9000 Standards, and the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria. Clients of Reger Quality Consultants have successfully been audited and registered by such registrars as NQA, ABS, IQSR, ITS-Intertek, LRQA, QMI, PJR, SGA, TRA, UL, ORION, NFS-IRS, DNV, and SGS International.

Prior to consulting, Mr. Reger's work experience included Quality and Reliability Engineering and Management positions with the Chevrolet Saginaw Manufacturing Division of General Motors (Saginaw, MI), Maysteel Corporation (Mayville, WI), Hein-Werner Corporation (Waukesha, WI), Badger Meter Inc. (Brown Deer, WI), and Mayville Metal Products (Mayville, WI).

He is a frequent speaker on Quality Engineering and Management and Product Liability and has taught for ASQC, the University of Wisconsin, Marquette University and the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Mr. Reger’s experience includes a diverse background including: machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding/braising, assembly (manual and automated), injection molding, steel manufacturing/processing/warehousing, distribution, petroleum processing, food processing, medical devices, medical/dental service, casting and molding (steel, aluminum, bronze), education.
